![]() Rosewood camp is so lucky to have a wonderful network of talented and generous tutors to call on every year. You can find program details for our 2017 camp here and tutor information here. In the lead up to camp we'll be featuring a tutor or two each week or so, little teasers to get you excited about what's in store for this year. To kick off, meet Jess Foot, our Fiddle tutor! Jess is a freelance oboist and fiddler with classical/baroque/folky/improv/new music persuasions. She performs a diverse range of music for orchestras, chamber music projects and recordings. Jess' fiddle style includes strains of Celtic, Scandinavian, Quebecois, Old-time and Middle Eastern modal music. She performs at festivals, country halls, house concerts, birthday parties and the like - with Duck Duck Goose (quirky double-reed Trad), the Homegrown Quartet (original tunes), The Neon Effect (contemporary Aussie Trad) and in her duo with Louise Godwin. For many years she has also delighted in improv. collaboration with the multi-instrumentalist and composer Carl Pannuzzo. But the most important thing to know about Jess is that she makes everyone around her feel relaxed and ready for fun!
