Sing-along, play-along - Gaelle Horsely
Gaelle has been involved in the Victorian music scene for decades, kicked off by participation at Turramurra when she first arrived in Australia. She went from campfire singing to winning the Mortlake Buskers Festival Best Performer award, to singing in 5 bands and running a large music festival. Currently she sings with two jazz bands and runs a community sing-along play-along orchestra in Melbourne. It's this model that Gaelle is bringing to Turramurra, with simple playing for beginners and more complex improvisation options for more skilled players. So come and feel the folk, belt out some blues, sink into soul, peal out some pop, jog through some jazz or croon some contemporary. Come on, you know you want to!

Georgian singing - Lloyd O'Hanlon
Lloyd spent most of his twenties living between Georgia and Italy, staying with traditional folk-singing masters and learning their ways. Collaborating with artists like ‘Adilei’ and ‘Mokvare’ (Georgia) or ‘Davide Ambrogio’ and ‘Duo D’altroCanto’ (Italy), he toured around Europe as a member of these groups and mastered the art of polyphonic singing. At 29, he returned home and brought not only dozens of songs but the spirit of folk singing with the family around the table. He now sings with his mother and brother at every opportunity and directs the Footscray Hotel Choir. Check out the beautiful recording of Lloyd with D’altroCanto.
