Volunteers

Music camps like Turra don't happen without volunteers! 

Turramurra volunteers will be working in 5 teams. You can nominate which team or teams you would prefer to work in when you complete the application form. Based on your skills and experience, we might approach you to lead one of the teams. Some teams may involve volunteer tasks prior to the weekend. We look forward to having you on the team! 

• Program team - Working on tasks relating to programming, concerts and workshops over the weekend. 

• Catering team - Assisting our wonderful catering provider to provide meals and manage the dining room area. Perfect for the hospo folks out there. 

• Venue team - Responding to all things venue-related, whether it's flipping a room for a bush dance, alerting the venue manager of an overflowing bin - keeping the wheels turning! 

• Registration team - Working on welcoming people to the camp and settled in to their assigned bunk rooms. This role may involve some work prior to the camp to assist in assigning bunk rooms and preparing for the weekend. 

• Communications & social media - New for 2025! If you have skills in social media or photography we would love to hear from you. This team will work on helping set up Turra's social media presence and on taking photos and videos across the weekend.
